Step by Step Guide How to Use Tev-Tropin

Your step by step guide to using Tev-Tropin begins with the set-up of your medication. Please start by gathering the supplies listed below and then going to the sink to wash your hands with soap and water.

The necessary supplies, which will all be in your HGH Tev-Tropin kit, include:

  • Vial of HGH Tev-Tropin lyophilized powder
  • Vial of sterile (bacteriostatic) diluent solution
  • Mixing syringe/needle
  • Injecting syringe/needle
  • Alcohol wipes
  • Sharps container for needle disposal

Always work on a flat surface. Your doctor will have prescribed Tev-Tropin HGH in either a 5 mg or 10 mg vial, and it is of the utmost importance to ensure that the right diluent is used. We will first explain how to prepare the 5 mg Tev-Tropin and then proceed with the 10 mg vials.

  1. Carefully remove the plastic caps from the Tev-Tropin 5 mg vial and the 5 mg sterile solution vial
  2. Wipe the top of each vial with a fresh alcohol swab
  3. Uncap a new mixing syringe needle and set the cap aside for reuse
  4. Slowly pull the plunger of the mixing syringe back to fill with an equal amount of air as the solution you will withdraw
  5. Insert the tip of the needle into the sterile solution rubber stopper and gently push the plunger all the way down, releasing the air into the vial
  6. Turn the vial of sterile solution upside down while holding the needle firmly in place until the solution completely covers the needle tip and then pull back on the plunger gently until the required amount of solution fills the syringe
  7. Remove the needle from the vial and insert it into the cleaned Tev-Tropin vial
  8. Tilt the vial slightly to the side so that the needle points to the side of the vial – this will allow the sterile solution to run down the side of the vial as you slowly push the plunger in all the way
  9. Once empty, remove the needle from the Tev-Tropin HGH vial, recap, and discard in the Sharps container
  10. Carefully roll the HGH Tev-Tropin vial between your hands to mix the solution – never shake HGH – then let the vial sit for a few minutes until the powder completely dissolves (never use HGH that contains particles, crystals, or is cloudy)
  11. Write the mixing date on the vial – Tev-Tropin 5 mg will last for up to 14 days whereas the 10 mg vial when mixed is good for up to 28 days

If you have Tev-Tropin 10 mg vials, you will receive a prefilled syringe containing the sterile solution. Attach the 25 G mixing needle that is in your HGH kit and insert it into the cleaned Tev-Tropin vial before proceeding to follow steps 8 – 11 above.

You are now ready to learn how to inject Tev-Tropin by following these instructions:

  • Remove the cap from the needle of a fresh injecting insulin syringe, setting the cap aside for recovering when done
  • Insert the needle tip all the way into the center of the Tev-Tropin rubber stopper
  • Turn the Tev-Tropin vial upside down until the liquid covers the needle tip, then slowly pull the plunger back filling the syringe with the prescribed Tev-Tropin dosage – check for air bubbles and remove them by tapping the syringe to allow them to reach the top before pushing the plunger slowly in (add more HGH solution, if necessary after this process)
  • Remove the needle from the Tev-Tropin vial and replace the cap
  • Use a fresh alcohol wipe to prepare the injection site, allowing it to air dry before continuing
  • Uncover the needle, again setting aside the cap
  • Pinch the skin around the prepared injection site between your fingers and quickly push the needle into the skin at a 45 – 90-degree angle
  • Hold the syringe steady and pull back on the plunger just a little to ensure that there is no blood entering the syringe (if you see blood, remove the needle, replace the cap, and discard in the Sharps container – you will then prepare a new shot)
  • If no blood is seen, you will proceed with the injection by gently pushing the plunger in until the syringe is emptied
  • Remove the needle from the injection site and replace the cap before discarding in the Sharps container
  • If desired, apply gentle pressure to the injection site with a sterile gauze pad or cotton ball

Important steps to remember before every subsequent HGH injection:

  • Always remember to wash your hands and check the vial for expiration and discoloration or particles before every use.
  • Use a fresh alcohol swab to clean the HGH vial before each use
  • Store your Tev-Tropin HGH in the refrigerator – do not let sit out for more than 30 minutes
